David 1 year!

Today, David would have turned 1.
Today marks exactly one year since our son was born after which we got to take care of him for 2 weeks and enjoyed him incredibly. What a privilege it is to have known him for 2 weeks and have so many wonderful memories. We are grateful to God for his life and we know he is now safe in Jesus arms, Home!
We had actually planned to put some videos of his life online not too long after David's death. However, we did not get around to this for a variety of reasons.
But now we thought it would be nice to still do this. We want to continue to remember and celebrate David's life, even as we are about to welcome another miracle.

it has been a year already! what a wonderful thing you filmed. i watched it with tears in my eyes. what precious memories. much strength for the time ahead and above all, i wish you god's blessing and strength.

Safe in Jesus' arms, that is where David may now be and play in His court.
Very impressed, I watched the video and also the service.
What a beautiful son you have,,, so cool and mature!
I pray, that God's Loving closeness, His Comfort and Strength will flow through you.
Also for the coming period,as you prepare for the birth of your second child!!!

Today is your dear son David's 1st anniversary, indeed a day of double feelings I think. I thought of you and David today. What a beautiful memorial stone you had made for David's last resting place on earth. The song 'His faithfulness colours the morning' has reminded me of David ever since.
How special that you can expect new life again! I sympathise with you and wish you God's nearness.
You can shed tears that he is gone,
or you can smile because he has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back,
or you can open your eyes and see all he's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see him,
or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember him only that he is gone,
or you can cherish his memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind,
be empty and turn your back.
