Gideon on the move
This (see photo) is how we found Gideon in the mornings for the past few days. Not the way we had put him to bed, but lying all cross-legged by the cuddles or with his head against the bars. Rascal 🙂
This is so much fun to watch! It also does provide a new challenge. Until now, we could leave him lying down when he was fed without any problems, also because he would usually just sleep during the feeding. But when he starts moving around so much, and is also more awake lately, the probe gets tight and this can be annoying for him or he may even pull the probe out during the feed. This is not convenient. And we have to hide his probe well now, so it doesn't get around his neck.
But last week we saw and heard a lot of new things from Gideon. He is increasingly exploring his bed and playpen by almost 'tigging', is making cosy noises, and he said "mama" for the first time a few days ago!!! He actually talked after Marieke a few times.
Gideon is such a cute little guy 🙂
We said to each other just yesterday that we actually both (separately) for the first time really feel like, 'he is staying with us'. We really get to enjoy this and we do to the fullest!

Lovely that everything is going so fine at the moment. Grateful that you are enjoying and our prayer is that things may keep getting better and better and Gideon may continue to grow up into a healthy toddler and ......... onwards. What a cutie!

Yay! I just really like it with my mum and dad, so I just go and play, even in my bed :)
Really so wonderful! Super enjoying having such a happy-go-lucky guy in the house who is discovering the world bit by bit!

what an incredibly cool film, and may everyone watching enjoy it.
What a cute little guy, really exploring, and how much you enjoy him and Gideon enjoys you, he smiles sooo cute, and then those big eyes, so bright and ready.
I did realise that the socks are way too big, but once Gideon can wear them.

How lovely to see him like this! What a lovely little guy he is!!! How special and how touching it touches me to read that both of you can now experience the feeling "he is staying with us" and that you are really enjoying it more and more. You are so lucky. How great such a message he is so really exploring everything!
