Gideon day 19
Fortunately, after Gideon was given another extra bit of luminal anyway, he slept through almost the whole night and only woke up when we came this morning. He also spent last night on the CPAP, for some extra rest. This morning, Gideon enjoyed sitting on daddy's lap, I thought it was so nice to see my two men chatting together like that! There will be many more such 'happy moments' to come.
Now for us it's a bit of a wait for the kidney test tomorrow. If that reveals that Gideon needs surgery, that's another bump to take. If it is something minor or has already resolved in the past few weeks, all we have to do is work on tapering off the cpap, then tapering off the lowflow and that Gideon can start drinking the food himself and, of course, stay stable. (Those are the conditions for taking him home)

Glad that Gideon is doing better again. Hope for a favourable result today so he can recover further. We are still praying that this will be soon. Would be so wonderful for you guys!!!

Dear M&N and Gideon,
It is good to read that peace has come to you.We wish you this so much.But we also realise that it can be difficult at times.We pray for peace and rest.We also pray that the tests tomorrow will be positive so that your brave little man can continue to strengthen so that he can go home with you.
