Things are still going well without the lowflow. Today's nurse thought the monitor could come off, but the doctors thought that was still a bit too soon. If Gideon doesn't show any dip in the next 72 hours (until Friday morning), but Friday morning the monitor will come off. That means he will then only have the tube!
We haven't heard from the urologist yet, which will probably be on Thursday, when we talk to our contact doctor.
Today was a busy day so alone with Gideon. Pumping continues and where Nathanaël normally stays with Gideon then, I had to leave him alone now. He has worked a day before, but it still gets harder every day to leave Gideon 'alone'. The physiotherapist joined us a couple of times today and gave advice, the surgeon came by, we gave Gideon a bath (lovely moment again) and many people (nurses, nutrition assistant, doctors etc) came to see Gideon who had not yet seen him without lowflow. How proud we are of him and we can't wait to show him to you all!

We showed grandma / great-grandma the picture of Gideon.
She thought he was a very nice little guy. She had a picture of him (with low flow) hanging next to her desk. Tomorrow we will print the latest one for her. Sleep well!
