Samos on holiday!

We spent 2 weeks on holiday together. How we had been looking forward to a time when we could enjoy ourselves carefree for once. And this holiday really was!

Since the last surgery in early 2017, Gideon has been doing so well that we finally wanted to "really go on holiday". Until now, we had often stayed near NL in case something happened, but now we went by plane for two weeks to Samos. How much we enjoyed it!

It was the first time flying for Gideon. What a special experience for him (and for us too). And on Samos, we enjoyed nature and swimming. For Gideon, it was also the first time swimming in the sea. Floating around in a rubber ring. We built this up slowly because we hadn't been in the water much with Gideon yet, but when we saw Gideon enjoying being in the water more and more, we did it more and more. With the high point that in the last 2-3 days, Gideon was so confident in the water that he even snorkelled and saw the fish.

Did I mention that we enjoyed this holiday very much 😀.
