Hospital day 7

11:00u We had another reasonable night. Early in the night there was a lot of pain again, and not quite clear what was causing it. This night we started again with a "normal portion" of tube feedings over the intestines. Halfway through the night when things weren't going quite right, we slowed down just to be sure. Also took another 50cc of air out of his stomach and later 50cc of nutrition from what he had eaten because it was not clear whether the stomach was giving the pain or something else. It was weird though that there was still so much nutrition in the stomach from the afternoon meal. Have to pass on how that's possible. After 2.30 pm, we slept well until 7 am. Now that Gideon is doing better medically and we are going back to a bit of a normal rhythm with food, it is a bit of a discovery to see how things are going in his body. And then we shouldn't have any more nights like this.Today will probably be another quiet day. The day does go a lot slower, but it's lovely to take it easy.	11.00am We have a reasonable night behind us. Halfway through night when it was not clear what was causing the pain we turned down the speed of the drip. We also pulled out 50cc of air from his stomach and later 50cc of food of what he had eaten that day, because it was not clear whether the stomach gave pain or something else. It was odd that there was still so much food in the stomach from what he ate that afternoon. This is something we will discuss with the doctor because it can be the food from the stomach has trouble going to the intestines. After two-thirty we slept until 7 am.Now that it goes better with Gideon medically speaking and we start to go to a normal rhythm with food it is a little figuring out how it goes in his body. And we should no longer have this kind of nights.Today is probably another quiet day. The day it goes a lot slower, but it's lovely to take it easy.
